The Augury House Restaurant is a weekly occuring virtual restaurant that airs every Thursday from 5pm to 6pm PST. At this restaurant, special chat commands trigger audio and change cameras within the virtual space. To submit audio to the Restaurant, please visit our Discord server for more information.
Approach
The Restaurant uses a modular structure that can easily incorporate new levels, cameras, and interactive actions. The hour long livestream features a handful of distinct scenes: ordering scene, kitchen scene, dining scene, special performance scene. These scenes have unique chat inputs and rotate according to long timers. We plan on expanding this project via crowdsourced audio submissions and collaborations with IRL restaurants.
