AUGURY HOUSE is a close-knit collective of filmmakers and artists committed to creating innovative and immersive film experiences. Our team brings together a diverse range of talents, from actors and directors to musicians, painters, writers, and technicians. Together, we craft films and artistic projects that extend beyond the screen, weaving our narratives through blog posts, episodic content, merchandise, and zines.

At the core of AUGURY HOUSE are our three founders, Carissa Te-Hsuan Chu, Binh Nguyen, and Kevin Yatsu, who lead each project from concept to release, driving our unique and intimate approach to filmmaking.

Our ambition is to produce films that are both thoughtful and personal, grounded in deep research and rich with substance. We aim to challenge conventions, offering fresh and innovative ways to tell stories that resonate. Beyond the screen, we bring our films to life through worldbuilding—creating zines, offshoot content, and exhibitions that expand the themes and visual language of our work. Our journey is a well-documented exploration of the creative process in the digital age, embracing new technologies and non-linear paths to filmmaking.

In this phase of AUGURY HOUSE, we are focusing on developing a series of short films, music, and supplementary content to build an audience and demonstrate our capabilities. As our reach and funding grow, we plan to expand our team and take on larger-scale film projects, set both in the US and abroad, with an eye toward reaching an international audience. You can keep up to date with all things AUGURY HOUSE at our Patreon where we give weekly insights into our creative process and strategies for the future.
